Hard to believe that my husband finally got his luggage, two months after we returned from holiday.
I cant forget the endless phone calls and the frustration of having to deal with an airline, whose call centre is located in India and whose representatives seem so clueless.
Every phone call was a waste of time and energy yet there were times I couldnt help but sympathise with the person on the other end of the phone, who had to face hubby's wrath.
Seriously, shooting the messenger and shouting at the reps doesnt help the situation, it just puts up the blood pressure, but when you are in a mood to vent, nothing else matters.
Yet all they can do is convey the message they find on their computer, which for two months was "sorry, the bag can't be located but we are still looking."
End of the day we had reason to rejoice, twice over. We received a cheque in the mail for the claim we submitted, on the same day that we got the bag, with everything intact!
Now that is what I call a story with a happy ending!
