I am fascinated by the sky at dawn. It is Nature’s priceless gift to me that jump starts my mornings as I drag myself downstairs for a caffeine fix.
The constant changing of color tones as the sun stretches higher over the horizon, the vibrant beauty of a blushing sky, with hues of baby pink, rustic orange and bright yellow, merging together to welcome another day is truly spectacular.
But today, when I woke up to another such morning, I realised how the Forces of Nature were seemingly temperamental and its impact at times, so extreme.
While I was fortunate to visualise such breathtaking dawns, others, for instance in Japan were waking up to a sky tinged with radiation fumes. Elsewhere around the world, the sky was being suffocated from fumes of gunfire and bombs or reverberating with voices of fear, anger and hatred.
I feel so blessed, so grateful, for the peace and beauty my mornings bring me. I hope that in time, it becomes a part of everyone’s morning too.
