While I am well aware of the fact that late nights on a weekday are a bad idea, there was no way I could avoid watching the gripping episode of the TV serial "Grey's Anatomy' last night and what an episode it was!!
Needless to say, I came in to work, tired and half awake. It didnt help that my computer wouldnt switch on, that my 'mouse' had been taped to my desk and the volume of my phone turned up...all a bit too much to start my morning, until I realised I had been duped - it was April Fool's day!
The 1st of April, always evokes memories of all the fun we had back in school. We would creep up behind friends and pin a note on their uniforms, put glue on someone's chair that had them stuck for a while, once they sat, convey information to shock or surprise someone and then feel elated, when they were taken in. Needless to say, everyone was always looking over their shoulders, to avoid getting caught, but it didnt always work.
Let's hope, I am not in for any more shocks or surprises....maybe some caffeine will help keep me awake, for starters.
