A Laugh a day

Laughter is contagious, but it is so worth catching. There is nothing more heartwarming than when  laughter is shared; it binds people together and increases happiness.

I wonder how many of us are aware of how theraupetic it can be! In fact, laughter triggers healthy physical changes in the body. Furthermore, it strengthens your imune system, boosts energy, diminishes pain and most importantly, it protects you from the damaging effects of stress.

According to my friend Pat, if you havent laughed at least once in the day, it is a day wasted. After all, life is too short and so unpredictable. 

Is it any wonder then that laughter clubs are quite popular these days as people find themselves drawn to the idea of spending about an hour in the company of others, in a light, fun-filled atmosphere, where they can forget their woes, laugh away and emerge with a sense of well-being, of feeling good.

The bonus of incorporating laughter in your lives is priceless. Given the fact that something so simple, is fun and free, makes it an absolute win-win situation!
